The SEP TTT course has been designed for those who have already completed their basic instructor skills qualification, and are wanting to step into the world of Safety Training.
To be a Cabin Crew / Flight Crew Safety Instructor there are a unique set of skills that are required. This is why we have developed this course in reference to CAA, EASA and ICAO standards to ensure learners will have: The knowledge, skills and credibility to effectively deliver the SEP training elements in a non-operational environment.
Throughout this course, we will explore the principles that underpin SEP training and discuss why effective emergency preparedness remains a critical element of aviation safety.
We will examine the operator’s role in SEP training, including the documentation, procedures and organisational considerations that influence how training is delivered within different environments.
Most importantly, this programme has been designed to develop the knowledge, practical skills and facilitation techniques required to confidently deliver SEP training. Through discussions, activities, peer learning and practical exercises, there will have opportunities to practise instructional techniques and reflect on your own development as future SEP Trainers.
This is not simply a course about regulations or procedures. It is an opportunity to strengthen your ability to engage learners, facilitate meaningful discussions and create safe and effective learning environments.
Support, coaching and constructive feedback will be provided throughout the programme.
