Before starting duties on board an aircraft, every cabin crew member must hold a Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA). Think of it as your official “licence to fly.” Recognised by industry regulators as a Certificate of Professional Competence, the CCA is the only qualification accepted by airlines.
It’s an essential step for anyone looking to begin an exciting career as cabin crew — giving you the knowledge, confidence, and certification you need to take to the skies.
Our training course runs over six days and includes a short pre-course online workbook, which takes around five hours to complete. You’ll receive access to this approximately two weeks before the course begins, giving you plenty of time to work through it at your own pace.
You can choose to complete the course either virtually or in person at our Manchester training centre. If you decide to join virtually, please note that the final day (Day 6) takes place in person at our Manchester centre. This is when you’ll complete your final exam and take part in water survival training.
One important thing to remember — all learners must be confident swimmers to take part in the course.
We are known for our fun, nurturing, and engaging training style, and we work with airlines around the world, consistently achieving 100% satisfaction in our feedback. SkyPeople Training instructors bring extensive experience from airlines across the UK, Europe, and beyond. By sharing their real-world knowledge, they help each learner build confidence and gain valuable insight into the aviation industry.
As a CCTO, we must ensure every learner is fully competent before issuing a Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA). If a learner fails a module, they are allowed one resit. However, after three total test failures, the learner will need to return for a future course to complete the resit. SkyPeople Training will provide guidance, support, and coaching throughout this process to help the learner succeed on their next attempt.
Experienced Cabin Crew can apply to join an accelerated four-day classroom course. Each application is reviewed against the eligibility criteria set by the CAA to ensure the learner meets the required standards
For learners attending the virtual course, the training includes five days of online learning followed by a one-day classroom session. This final day covers all practical elements and concludes with an additional final exam.
